Whilst Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) or “Tapping” has produced remarkable clinical results, it is still considered to be in the experimental stages.
It is not yet widely known about or accepted in the mainstream public health systems, despite all the fabulous work done in the fields of research and clinical trials.
And therefore, practitioners and the public must take care and responsibility for their use of it.
EFT is different to counselling and traditional talk therapy.
Although we do combine elements of exposure therapy, cognitive therapy and mindfulness in EFT, the focus is an EFT session tends to be on the “tapping” on acupressure points, as research has demonstrated this to be the active ingredient in EFT.
Please consult your current health care providers regarding your use of EFT.
Let them know you are using EFT as an evidence-based stress management tool.
Do not make any changes to your medications or other treatments without consulting your current health care professionals.
People who learn to use EFT/Tapping themselves in between sessions will often get better results, or in a shorter time frame than people who do not.
I am offering these services in my capacity as a Certified Master EFT Trainer, Approved Mentor and Certified Advanced EFT Practitioner, accredited through EFT International.
I am also a Social Worker registered with the Australian Association of Social Workers.
The services I provide are educational in nature.
Whilst engaging in trainings, group / individual mentoring, or personal sessions with me, you are responsible for your own well-being.
Please ask questions if you have any concerns or need further clarification.
